You have 30 – 40 thoughts per minute.
Yes, according to a recent academic study the average human has around 50,000 individual thoughts every day.
It’s mental, literally.
Add your emotions. Desires, shame, lust, happiness, guilt, fear, overwhelm, love, and the list goes on.
Then, add the external pressures. Work, family, finances, health, limited time, and the list goes on.
How much inner turmoil…
No wonder it becomes a challenge to get through the day, especially without inflicting pain on ourselves or someone else!
I don’t think there is a person alive that doesn’t sometimes suffer from obsessive overthinking.
There is a video at the bottom ‘How to stop your excessive overthinking’ if you would prefer to skip this part!
You know what it’s like, you lay down at night after an exhausting day. Your body is completely shattered, you can barely walk another step let alone do anything else.
Your head hits the pillow, and bang… It’s party time for your thoughts!
Everything that you can infinitely possibly think arrives. Even worse than that, you start obsessively thinking about everything you don’t want to think about.
Then you start thinking about the thinking. Now you are thinking, about not thinking while asking yourself am I still thinking.
It’s no wonder you’ve had enough of this.
Okay, you try to focus on your breath. Brilliant, it’s working. 1, 2, 3, ‘this is real nice’, 4, ‘I can think and count’, 5… Twenty minutes later you’ve done everything but focus on your breath.
‘Please, just give me a few moments to fall asleep.’
Well, if sleeping is the biggest issue. Here is asleep meditation just for you.
Let’s get back to obsessive overthinking
In this video you will learn 5 ways you can break the cycle of overthinking. I also explained to you why we have this need to overthink everything. Without some knowledge and wisdom of why you think so much, you will never be able to take control of it.
At the end of the video below (Time – 16:45) I give you a technique that will enable you to instantly silence the thoughts. Sometimes it’s long enough for you to be able to fall asleep, sometimes it’s just a nice welcome relief during the day.
Plus, it works every time.
Please, enjoy the video let me know in the comments below what you think!
Oh the irony…
