Life’s journey is filled with unexpected twists and turns. I’ve faced the seemingly insurmountable challenges of a broken neck, quadriplegia, bankruptcy, and heartbreak. Yet through it all, I’ve learned how to move on. Here’s my story and the lessons I’ve learned.

After a swimming accident left me with a broken neck and quadriplegia, I was diagnosed with autonomic dysreflexia, a life-threatening condition that can cause a stroke or worse without warning. It’s a constant reminder of the fragility of life and the necessity to adapt.
